This is a free Australian FIRE & net-worth planner — enter your numbers once on the Setup tab, and every other tab updates automatically. Everything stays in your own browser; nothing is sent anywhere. Not sure where to start? Explore a demo persona first and see how the app responds to a situation like yours — no need to enter any real numbers to look around.

Tax & Take-Home Pay
Modelled the same way as paycalculator.com.au — ATO resident brackets, Medicare levy with low-income phase-in, the Medicare Levy Surcharge, and HECS/HELP, all specific to the financial year you pick below.

Rates shown for FY2026-27. FY2024-25 and FY2025-26 used a 16% second bracket (vs. 15% from FY2026-27); FY2024-25 HECS/HELP used the old whole-of-income flat-rate system rather than the marginal one. Medicare and MLS thresholds are held constant across years pending official indexation. Excludes super contributions, deductions, and franking credits.
Superannuation
Your balance is set here — the "Super"-tagged row in your Net Worth register automatically mirrors whatever you enter, so there's only one place to update it.

Post-tax savings rate — the single biggest lever on your FIRE date—
Surplus is assumed to build as cash/offset — growing at the rate above rather than your ETF return — and feeds the Net Worth projection as a separate stream.

These drive every projection on the Goals, Milestones, Scenarios, Super, and Net Worth tabs.

Net Worth
Your full balance sheet, and where it's headed. Tag each row with a category — Liquid, Property, Super, or Other — so the Home dashboard's breakdown cards and the FIRE calculations use the right numbers.
Profile, income & expenses, and cash rate now live on the Setup tab. Your Super row below is automatic too — its balance is set on Setup, not edited here.

Goals at a glance
Pin milestones from the Milestones tab to track them here — pin as many or as few as you like.
Financial Goals
One set of shared assumptions, one timeline. Everything below tracks where you stand right now against your current trajectory.
Shared assumptions and tax estimates now live on the Setup tab.
Where you stand
Three ways of looking at financial independence, sorted by whichever you'll reach first at your current trajectory.
Life adjustments
Career breaks, kids, redundancies — logged and wired into the figures above.
My Milestones
Reached milestones tuck away into a drawer per category; the next four line up by how soon you'll reach them. Pin any milestone (📌) to surface it in the Net Worth tab's glance panel.

Life Events Timeline
Log the big things coming up — including switching to part-time work or a lower-paid role, which you can log as a "Career change" with a lower new salary, or as "Other" with a negative income impact. Toggle any event off to see the plan without it.
Income, investment, and expense impacts are combined into a single change to your annual contribution for the years the event is active. That feeds: the dashed projection on the Net Worth tab, the Where you stand timeline and every FIRE number on the Goals tab, every tier's projected age on the Milestones tab, and both plans on the Scenarios tab. Type-specific details (purchase price, loan term, etc.) stay descriptive for now. Leave "end year" blank for an impact that runs indefinitely.
Impact on your net worth
Uses the exact same calculation as the Net Worth tab's own chart (including your income/expense surplus stream) — the gold "With events" line here is identical to that chart's "Expected" line. Purple shows what it would look like without your active events, for direct comparison without switching tabs.

Difference at age —
Superannuation
Track your super separately — it compounds tax-advantaged at 15%, is locked until ~60, and is the second bucket in a two-bucket FIRE strategy.
Super inputs (balance, SG rate, voluntary contributions, return, tax rate, preservation age) live on the Setup tab — this tab is calculation-only.

Two-bucket FIRE strategy
Your superannuation is locked away until you're about 60 — no matter how ready you are to stop working, you can't touch it earlier. So if you want to retire before then, you need a separate, accessible pot of money to actually live on until super unlocks. That accessible pot is your "bridge." This card shows how big your bridge needs to be, and whether you're on track.

Accessible portfolio now—
Super at preservation age (projected)—
Overall FIRE readiness—
How we calculate this
FIRE age uses only your accessible (non-super) portfolio: —. Bridge required to get from there to preservation age: —.
The bridge is calculated as an annuity that draws down to $0 exactly at preservation age — not a flat multiplication — so it accounts for the portfolio continuing to grow while you draw from it. Super at preservation is assumed to then fund the rest indefinitely.
Salary sacrifice opportunity
Concessional contributions are taxed at 15% inside super vs. your marginal rate outside — the cap depends on the financial year selected in the Tax & Take-Home Pay card on Setup (including employer SG).
